Hi, I’m Kelly.
I am an experienced, award-winning writer and communicator. I specialize in writing and website consultation and development.
I love to write. It would be impossible for me to name every single type of work I’ve written or contributed to, but here’s just a few of the things I’ve written: mass emails, corporate announcements, website copy, news releases, blog posts, executive communications, newsletters, web articles, booklets, corporate reports, marketing materials…you get it.
For my website clients, I build, organize, and improve websites to meet specific goals and be user-friendly, intuitive and clean. Along with developing the site, I can provide copy for site pages and blog posts.
My work experience spans several industries including a state governor, a Fortune 500 company, nonprofit, business, and agency. My work has won professional awards in the public relations field.
I’ve managed the development and implementation of employee communication systems including an employee intranet platform and TV communication system. I have experience working with content management systems and am comfortable learning new systems and technology.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina (go Cocks!).
I’m a passionate reader, writer, and historical enthusiast. I’m a mother of two young children who keep me on my toes and motivate me to do my best and work hard every day. Ninety-nine percent of the books I read are non-fiction historical or historical fiction. I’m also a fan of NPR, online shopping, cupcakes, running short distances, and the comfy chic fashion movement.
